A little bit about Sara
1.When did you start crafting and what made you start?
I started crafting about a year ago but my interest in card making started in 2009 when I wanted to do my own wedding invitations.
2.What’s your favourite colouring medium?
I usually use copic markers but I would love to learn to use distress inks!
3. Where do you craft?
I usually craft in my kitchen table with all the goodies aroud me =)
4.What is your favourite MIC image/s?
Ooo I love the funny elves =)
5.Do you have a favourite type/style of card that you like to make?
Hmm… I don´t know in what style my cards belongs but I admire others chabby chic cards!
And here is Sara‘s fabulous card:
A little bit about Franz:
1.When did you start crafting and what made you start?
I start crafting less than two years ago. One of my friends talked me about scrapbooking and to understand more about it, I typed this strange word on my computer and…a new world opened to my eyes! I was particularly fashinated by cards, images and coloring. Since then I’ve never stopped to create whenever I can!
2.What’s your favourite colouring medium?
I love both Distress inks and Copics, it generally depends on the image. I would like to try pencils too, soon or late…
3. Where do you craft?
Oh! You touch a sore spot! I always craft on my living room: every night, when my little children are sleeping, I open my scrap-cabinet and put out all my things, when it’s time to go to bed (and for me is never now when I’m crafting!) I patiently put again everything in right order inside my cabinet, so I generally go to sleep terribly late!
4.What is your favourite MIC image/s?
I love backgrounds and houses so much, but I love images too: “Ardella”, “Cordelia” and “Sweet Devilina” are my favourites!
5.Do you have a favourite type/style of card that you like to make?
Yes, I love Vintage and Shabby Chic style and I’ve a weakness for shaped and shaker cards.
Here’s Franz‘s fabulous card for this week’s challenge.
TIPS AND TRICK
The idea this week is to create the impression that there is movement in your image by the way you colour the image. You can also add lines to create the same impression.
Here are some photos to inspire you…
See how the fur is pushed to the right and becomes slightly blury out of focus. The blurred background also helps give the impression of movement. FAST in this case.
