Yay! The day has finally arrived where we begin the new challenges at Make it Colourful.
We hope that all of you who love to experiment with colour will join us on this new venture. The colourful challenges will all be FUN but we hope to inspire you and push you to experiment as you try new things and learn along the way.
The first few challenges will be easy as we get into the swing of things and then every once and a while we will throw you a curve ball! This we hope will help you to throw all your fears aside and play with new ideas and grow.
This weeks sponsor is Make it Crafty
Make it Crafty specialises in digital stamps that you can combine with your favourite characters.
There will be two random prize winners
Prize 1

Prize 2
Copic Ciao Cool Colours

The Challenge!
For our very first challenge we would like you to create a project
COLOURING predominantly with either WARM or COOL colours.
IMPORTANT UPDATE!!
This is a COLOURING challenge not just a colour challenge.
We are getting some entries that do not have any colouring.
Please note these entries will be removed.
How to pick your colours?
I began creating a colour wheel to share with you but as I was researching I came across this interior decorating web page that explains a lot of different aspects about picking your colours for the home. These same principles apply when selecting colours for your projects. So rather than reinventing the ‘wheel’ (pun intended) I would like to suggest having a look at this page here.
This is a great representation of warm and cool colours on the colour wheel.
Inspiration Time!
We are very excited to have Mary Giemza joining us this week
Mary is an inspiration to many with her incredible depth and shadows
as well as her special talent in choosing and combing colours.
