Hi Everyone,
Thanks for joining us last week for our Colour with Shine challenge. As always we will announce the winners on Tuesday!
This week we thought we would try something a little different! The fabulous Colour Addicts confessed to having crafty time with their children but not often sharing their work! So we thought it might be fun to have a challenge where the kiddies can play along and proudly showcase their creations!
Being creative as a child is so important for brain development and of course the time spent together with family is a wonderful bonding experience. You may be a parent, grandparent, aunty, uncle or older sibling; spending time with a young mind creating together will be a special moment, so please do join us.
This weeks sponsor is Make it Crafty
Make it Crafty specialises in digital stamps that you can combine with your favourite characters.
There will be One Random Prize winner who will win a little
kiddies surprise crafty pack!
The Challenge!
This week we want the kiddies to colour with pink!
Please note that they do not have to make a card. They can just colour in an image if desired.
IMPORTANT !!
This is a COLOURING challenge not just a colour challenge.
Entries not following the rules will not be eligible to win prizes. If you are at all confused about whether your entry will qualify, please contact us first.
PLUS!!! For this challenge I have a freebie for the kiddies!!
This is Penelope Shopping!
If you would like to use the freebie in your project please

Some of the DT children have provided samples of colouring Penelope to inspire your little ones.
Inspiration Time!
I must tell you it has been quite the amusing week for me.
I don’t have children myself so all the funny stories coming in from the ladies
as their children were making these cards has had me in stitches.
I will share a few as I add their cards.
————————————————————————
Elena – Aged 12
Please drop by to give her a bit of love!
Looks like Elena could be following in Mummies footsteps don’t you think?
She is a wiz with copic markers already!!
Christina – Aged 8
Cassandra – Aged 7
Lydia – Aged 4
Lydia LOVED the punch so much that the entire craft room floor now looks like it was sprinkled with black confetti!

Tolla, Aged 5 made the card below last week
however Carisa asked her if she would like to make another card using the free image coloured in pink
and she told mum in quite a harsh tone
“already MADE that Card, Mom!”
hahhaa – don’t kids just speak their mind! I love that!
Carisa had attempted to include a card from her other daughter however when she saw what she had made it was coloured entirely in PURPLE thus she disqualified her own daughter, and promises to do better next time! hahaa
All I can say is ‘Kids!!’ hehee
Both Irina and her daughter Svetlana Aged 3 played this week.
Irina created this gorgeous frame using the
sweet little girls from Sugar Nellie
Svetlana – Aged 3
Irina told me that she had asked Svetlana to use a pink pencils however Svetlana wanted to use her thin marker and that she shouldn’t interfere with her work!
When I laughed how stubborn Svetlana was, Irina responded that she is a little lamb with horns in nature.
Irina shares the most gorgeous photos of her children. You must pop over to see
Plus both Svetlana and Cyril drew some darling pictures this week which I am sure Irina will share on her post.

Knowing Lydia, I am pretty sure she would have a funny story to share with us, however her computer was playing up and it was just lucky for us to even get the photos of the gorgeous cards her two made!
Katieann Aged 8
Daisy Aged 6
Lauren Aged 5
Poor Lauren had an upsetting moment whilst making her card. She had coloured in the image and showed Mom who was so proud of her and she went back to making her card. Ruby went to check on her and Lauren was so upset because she had thought she had ruined her card after chopping Penelope’s leg and hair off.
Ruby couldn’t help but giggle but assured Laruen that she hadn’t ruined the whole card and that all she needed to do was colour the image again and stick it on.
awwww….
Chelsea Aged 10
Tracy also set up a new blog for Chelsea and this will be her very first post!
I do hope you will stop by and give her a bit of love.

As you can imagine these girls will be anxiously waiting for comments to come in about their creations.
I do hope you can spare a couple of minutes to pop by each blog and leave them a little love!
They will all be eager to see the creations your little ones make too!
