Are you having fun colouring eyes?
There has been an explosion of eye colouring going on in the MiC Facebook group and it’s been so much fun to see all the different ideas and everyone experimenting and pushing their boundaries. I am so pleased when I receive comments from you that you would never have tried this if it weren’t for the challenge and that’s exactly what this colouring challenge is all about. I am very lucky and grateful to have such a talented team of ladies to help back me up and offer you inspiration and guidance when they can.
Oh I must not forget to let you know that the Winners of the first challenge have been announced!
We have some more inspiration for you this week that I hope will spur you on to colour more eyes!!
The fun Optional Paint Drips challenge…
Plus there was a ‘dare’ in the FB group to colour rainbow eyes.
My first attempt with copics at the top. I wasn’t happy with the result so I tried again, this time blending the colours with copics and then using pencil to add the detail and white opaque pen for the highlight. MUCH better result…
Of course Barbara just blew me out of the water when she shared a sneak of this amazing creation combining the rainbow eyes AND the Paint drips…
I attempted to colour over my copic coloured image using the watercolour pencils… didn’t work out too well with the paper… hahaa
I was all excited about trying out my new (dusty sitting on the shelf) Inktense Derwent watercolour pencils, so I had some fun painting my own eyes for the ‘Paint Drips’ optional challenge…
So there we have it! More incredible inspiration from the MiC gals!
If you haven’t made something for the challenge yet, I hope you’ll be inspired to grab your favourite colouring medium and give it a shot!
