Hi Everyone,
We’re back again with a new challenge and we can’t wait to see allt he cards this week! It appears that our Reflections challenge may have been a little scary for some of you or maybe you were all off enjoyign the summer holidays!!
Before heading into the details of this challenge I regretfully have a few goodbyes as a few of my gorgeous girls have decided they are unable to play with us due to family and life committments. I have such trouble saying goodbye (don’t ask me to see you off at the airport unless you want lots of cuddles and tears!!) that I have been putting this off. However all of these fabulously talented girls have been such an inspiration and such wonderful team members that it was time I officially ‘let them go’.
A huge thank you to all of our previous Colour Addicts!
Again, thank you ladies for all your support, inspiration and fabulous fun personalities!
It has been an absolute pleasure to get to know you all and play along side you. I wish you all the very best in your endevours.
This week we are sponsored by the fabulous Magnolia-licious!
A little about Magnolia-Licious (from Zoe’s view!)
Magnolia-Licious was started by Diana Crick and has one of the largest selections of Magnolia Stamps in Northern America.
It has grown quickly with the world-wide love of Magnolia Stamps and the fabulous service that Diana offers.
There is a fabulous Magnolia Yahoo Group which Diana is a member and I often read messages expressing how wonderful and helpful Diana has been.
Magnolia-Licious is the exclusive supplier of the NEW Mini range of Magnolia stamps in the USA.
If you love Maggies then you are sure to love the variety available at
Magnolia-Licious!
Our last Magnolia-licious winner never claimed their prize so I have not organised another prize for this round.
I will talk to Diana once this challenge finishes and the winner contacts me.
Please ensure that you check back to see if you have won.
You can click the ‘Winners’ link top left to view ALL the winning posts.
The challenge this week is…..
You guessed it
Folds & Pleats!
So by ‘COLOURING‘ we want you to incorporate folds and pleats into the clothing of your characters.
I have made a number of videos on this subject however just ‘QUICKLY’ today I have made another video, attempting to make it a little easier to understand.
My colouring is with copics, however similar ideas would apply to any colouring medium.
If you have trouble viewing this video visit YouTube Here
The fabulous team have created some wonderful examples for you.
Don’t forget the wonderful thing about the Make it Colourful team is that we are all at different levels and are learning and experimenting too!
