Challenge #4 – Red & Green – Texture

Hello Colour addicts!!

We’re back with our fourth challenge and after last months challenge I decided I would go a little easier on you this time. 😀

To those of you who took on the challenge – good for you!! You’ll see as the months progress, by taking on the hard challenges, you will improve more and more each time and even if you don’t think it is perfect, when you go back to colouring something easier ‘within’ your comfort zone, you’ll find that you do ‘that’ even better. You’ll see. 🙂

The challenge

Each month we’ll challenge you to TWO challenges. An easy challenge to whet your appetite and then a hard challenge to get you to explore new ideas and grow more confident.

This month I have kept it in the theme of ‘Christmas’ for those of you working on your last minute projects for Christmas. 🙂

Want Feedback??
We’re not experts in this field and it was a real challenge for us too, but we’re here to encourage you along the way so if you would like to receive feedback on your project and advice on how you can improve – pop over to the Make it Crafty private FB group and post your project there where we can actively interact with you. Just make sure to let us know ‘what’ you would like advice on or you may not receive the help you are after. :)

Easy Challenge – Red & Green

I would like you to colour your image using red and green as the primary colours.

Hard Challenge – Texture

This months hard challenge is to add texture to your project. You can do this by adding texture to clothing, trees, snow or even teddy bear fur! 🙂  Most of the DT combined both challenges so I will not split up the images. If you combine both challenges in your project, just remember to enter your card into BOTH challenge entries below.

Oh, I can totally vouch for colouring things in your comfort zone being easier and better when you push yourself outside of it! Great projects this month x
