Challenge #8 – Light Source Top Left

Hi Everyone,

Can you believe it is Saturday already? I reach about Thursday every week and start wondering what on earth happened to the beginning of the week! Although, that could have something to do with not knowing what day it is most of the time. :)

I have been so impressed looking at your projects this week and seeing how well you did with your smooth gradients. PLUS I was excited to see some of you took on the extra challenge of blending a rainbow! Kudos to you!

I must apologise that I didn’t have a chance to make the video I wanted to make HOWEVER I do intend to make a video this week combining information for this challenge as well as some techniques on blending smoothly, so make sure you pop back on Tuesday to catch the video and of course see who our winner and top 3 will be!

This weeks sponsor is Make it Crafty

Make it Crafty specialises in digital stamps that you can combine with your favourite characters.

There will be One Random Prize winner who will win the
Following New Rubber Stamp from Make it Crafty!

Open Window

It is a great size to match many of your other characters!

The Challenge!

This week we want you to practice your Light Source and to keep it uniform
we want your light source to come from the TOP LEFT of your image.

So when you colour you want your shadows to fall to the right side of your image.
The lightest part of your image would be the top left.

IMPORTANT !!
This is a COLOURING challenge not just a colour challenge.
Entries not following the rules will not be eligible to win prizes. If you are at all confused about whether your entry will qualify, please contact us first.
