How long have you been colouring & how did you start?

I’ve been seriously coloring for about a year.  I started with Crayola colored pencils.  I moved on to watercolor pencils and finally to Copics.

What area of the house do you colour in? Describe it to us.

I have a craft room.  It’s full with a large quilting machine and another sewing machine.  I have a table where I work on cards.  DH just put a computer monitor on the wall so I can watch TV on the internet and color at the same time.

What is your favorite colouring medium?

Copic markers, sometimes they frustrate the heck out of me though : )

Have you experimented with other mediums? If so what are they?

I’ve used watercolor pencils and my sister got me Prisma pencils to play with last Christmas.

Have you tried colouring anything other than paper?

I’ve used crayons to color on fabric.  Very fun for making kids quilts.

What is your favourite colour combination?

My favorite color has to be pink.

Do you select your papers and embellishments before colouring your images?

Typically I color first.  I work with digi papers a bunch, so sometimes I’ve printed those first.

Other than Make it Crafty images of course, what are your favourite images to colour?

Do I have to choose?  For rubber stamps, I’ve been expanding my Magnolia collection and I love Your Next Stamp, The Greeting Farm, and Whiff of Joy.  I have a vast collection of digi stamps – The Stamping Boutique, Tickled Pink (I also have a few rubber ones), Fresh Brewed Designs,…

What inspires you?

I love seeing a project on a blog and interpreting it for myself.  I love tutorials.

Do you have someone/s you aspire to colour like? If so, who or whom?

I’m so new I’m still in the taking in information mode.  I’m hoping to find lots of helpful tips to share on the Challenge blog.
