How long have you been colouring & how did you start?
Started early 2009 when I got my first copics. Had been using SU watercolour crayons but not very successfully! After seeing such wonderful results on other blogs, I bought my first 10 copics! Woohoo!
What area of the house do you colour in? Describe it to us.
My craft room is a small ex-bedroom painted in a hideous bright green ( step-daughter’s choice when it was her room) jam packed with dog stuff, craft-stuff and dogs! Yes, they all join me and I’m stepping over beds and dogs all the time! Abbie likes to lie behind my chair and she’s been run over a few times!
What is your favourite colouring medium?
Copics, distress inks.
Have you experimented with other mediums?
If so what are they? Prisma pencils, though haven’t really had a good go with them yet. Maybe over Christmas break……
Have you tried colouring anything other than paper?
Ribbons, flowers, metal embellies
What is your favourite colour combination?
I’m an earthy tone girl really, find it hard working with brights though orange & red have snuck in there a fair bit.
Do you select your papers and embellishments before colouring your images?
Sure do, I find if I colour images first, they don’t get used cos I can never find what I want in my paper stash! ( which keeps growing!)
Other than Make it Crafty images of course, what are your favourite images to colour?
Phindy’s , skogstogika, and just got my very first hanglaar stamps so looking forward to playing with them.
What inspires you?
Cruising blogs mainly! Sometimes magazines will give me an idea to try also.
Do you have someone/s you aspire to colour like? If so, who or whom?
Annika & Zoe!!!!!
