Challenge #11 – Blend Yellow and Green together

MakeitColourful March 19, 2011 4

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another Make it Colourful challenge! We really enjoyed visiting all the children this week and are so happy to see so many aspiring colouring enthusiasts! It was wonderful to read how excited they were to be able to play along so we plan to continue the challenges for the little ones every two months! We hope you will be able to join us again as we would love to see how they improve over time.

This weeks sponsor is the adorable Crissy Armstrong

A little about Crissy
I draw illustrations for Whimsy Stamps where I have both a rubber and a digital collection. Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps, Wags ‘N Whiskers Stamps, Squigglefly, and High Hopes Stamps also sell my illustrations in either rubber stamp or digital formats. I work from home in lovely Canada where I live with my husband Mike and our two cutie-pie mutts, Avro and Spitfire.

Crissy is a very dear friend of mine and not only is she a talented illustrator, she is also an exceptional colourist.
I asked if she would be able to share a tip with you all this week so make sure you pop back on Tuesday for Crissy’s tip.

Crissy is offering the winner their choice of three digital stamps from the Whimsy stamps line she illustrates.

The Challenge!

This week we want you to colour by blending yellow and green together.

Tip: This colour combo looks fantastic when you are colouring flora!

This is a COLOURING challenge not just a colour challenge.
Entries not following the rules will not be eligible to win prizes. If you are at all confused about whether your entry will qualify, please contact us first.

Inspiration Time!

The colouring skillz displayed here are crazy good! As the young ones say these days, “SICK!” (that means really amazing!) I need a sling for my jaw now… I think it hit the floor!!!
