shirlc April 9, 2011 2

Wahooo can you believe I am really doing this, pinch me someone 😆

Gosh how these weeks are flying, Saturday here again already
and how glad am I that it’s not me having to pick the top 3 from
Colour With BRIGHT Colours
The creations entered were amazing and a big thank you to everyone who joined in.  Please pop back to see who the lucky winner is and who the
Design Team have chosen for their top 3 .
Remember girls tomorrow (Sunday) is TIPS DAY so pop back again
to see lots of hints and ideas about colouring.
Nearly finished just had to add this bit ….
Annika has made another video tutorial which is definitely unmissable.

Onto this weeks challenge and our sponsor is …  ta da … us … Make It Crafty

Make it Crafty specialises in digital stamps that you can combine
with all your favourite characters.

There will be One Random Prize winner who will win these fabulous Carnival digi stamps available in the Carnival Collection

That’s enough spiel for now … let’s get down to the real reason you are here, this weeks challenge and to see all the DT’s inspiration:

Colouring Skies

This could be anything from a beautiful day with the sun splitting the sky, rain clouds, a huge storm brewing, a night scene or even snow falling … the sky’s the limit … bad pun alert! 😆 … basically anything goes really as long as we can see a sky coloured somewhere.

Time now for a peek  at all the DT’s gorgeous inspiration below and again a huge welcome for this month’s Guest Designer Mindy from Stampin Mindy

Ya know I really want to hug that little guy
he looks just like Billy no mates, ahhh.

Mindy has used images from MIC
Rainbow Meadow from Landscapes Digital Stamp Collection
Not sure who the cute little lion is but I am sure you will find all the info you will need on Mindy’s blog.

I’m reliably informed there is a sky in there … check out the before and after,
yep that’s a sky and a really stunning one too.

Barbara has used images from MIC
Ticket Booth from The Carnival Digital Stamps Collection
and the clown plus matching sentiment are from Whiff Of Joy.

If my brother gave me a hug like that it was because he wanted to strangle me.

Beccy has used images from MIC
Kissing Booth from The Carnival Digital Stamps Collection
and the image is called Brotherly Love from Magnolia-licious.
Distress Inks are Broken China and Old Paper.

Gosh pops, what’s with the finger?

Me, me have used images from MIC
Country Walk from Landscapes and Alf and Dylan Fly a Kite from the Characters Digital Stamps Collection
Coloured with Faber Castell water colour pencils and Pro Markers,
for the edges used Broken China distress ink.

Can anyone guess what Annika thinks her balloon looks like!!!!  😯

Annika has used images from MIC
Country Walk from the Landscapes Digital Stamps Collection
The turtle and sentiment are a sneak peak of Whimsy rubber stamps which are available from April 13th:
Come Fly with Me , Party Mini Letter Seals, Everyday Sayings
and Mini Postage Stamps.   Colours for sky are B0000/21, C00/1 and a colourless blender.

Will someone hold my balloon please while I go on the carousel?

Jennifer has used images from MIC
Fair Carousel from The Carnival Digital Stamps Collection
and Tilda with balloon from Magnolia-licious
Prisma Pencils for the sky, Copics for carousel

Gosh first love, hands up who remembers this.

Carisa has used images from MIC
Tree of Love from the Scene Objects and Geeky Love from the
Characters Digital Stamps Collection.
Copics was her main colouring medium but she also used prisma pencils with an odourless blender for the grass, sky and clouds.

Whoa this was not meant to happen.

Angela has used images from MIC
Rainbow Dandelion from the Landscapes Digital Stamps Collection
and a House Mouse stamp called, Happy Hoppers – Gone With the Wind
from here

Oh my she looks as sweet as I do 😉

Leah has used images from MIC
Whimsical Log from the Scene Objects Digital Stamps Collection
and Chanter Heartsong from Sweet November
which you can find here.

Grab your favourite colouring medium, whether it be markers, pencils,
